Position Overview: This role is crucial for the successful execution of installation projects, ensuring the delivery of equipment and seamless collaboration with various trades to surpass client expectations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead the project installation plan, applying specialized skills and technical knowledge to ensure adherence to professional standards.
  • Delegate tasks effectively as a team leader, monitoring completion and quality while promptly addressing any discrepancies or coordination issues with the installation manager.
  • Utilize judgment based on experience to resolve challenges through thorough research of alternatives.
  • Exhibit strong supervisory and leadership skills, including training, team building, and effective negotiation.
  • Support the installation of fire safety and other building systems products, interpreting blueprints, diagrams, and operational manuals.
  • Possess programming skills or prior experience with low voltage systems, including fire alarms, nurse call systems, access control, security, CCTV, and clocks.
  • Identify out-of-scope requests from contractors or clients, following up with RFIs and proposed solutions.
  • Assist clients with inquiries and concerns promptly and professionally, effectively communicating project status to management.
  • Complete all necessary company documentation as required, ensuring compliance with safety policies and procedures.

Qualifications:

  • High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent.
  • A minimum of 5 years of experience in the installation and servicing of fire electronic and sprinkler systems or a comparable mechanical background.
  • Experience in team leadership and project management.
  • Ability to perform physical tasks, including lifting and moving equipment weighing up to 70 lbs.
  • Proficient in reading and understanding construction blueprints, diagrams, and specifications related to fire protection installations.
  • Knowledgeable in coordinating project activities with other trades to optimize installation efficiency.
  • Familiarity with industry-related equipment and software, including Microsoft Office (Excel, Gantt Charts).
  • Possess relevant NICET Certification as required.
  • Excellent communication skills, demonstrating tact and diplomacy when interacting with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Able to work in challenging positions, including heights and confined spaces.
  • Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.

Compensation: The hourly wage ranges from $35 to $50, determined by the applicant's education, experience, skills, and market alignment.
