We are seeking a highly qualified Associate Program Director for Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion to join our team at the Perelman School of Medicine at the University of Pennsylvania.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and implement a comprehensive diversity, equity, and inclusion strategy aligned with the program's mission and goals.
- Collaborate with the Program Director and other program leadership to foster a culture of inclusivity, respect, and belonging within the residency program.
- Participate in holistic review of residency applications and annual recruitment efforts.
- Enrich the mentoring program for underrepresented in medicine house staff to promote professional development and social support networks.
- Demonstrate outstanding clinical skills with ongoing involvement in patient care in Internal Medicine or medical subspecialty.
- Establish metrics to assess the effectiveness of diversity, equity, and inclusion initiatives within the Internal Medicine residency program and identify areas for program improvement.
- Collaborate with Program Director to collect and analyze data on diversity, equity, and inclusion within the residency program.
- M.D. or equivalent degree.
- Licensure or eligibility for licensure in the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania.
- Board-certified in Internal Medicine or Medicine Subspecialties by the American Board of Internal Medicine (ABIM) or equivalent.
- Rank will be commensurate with experience.
- Expertise in medical education research and/or practice.
- Administrative experience with a demonstrated commitment to diversity, equity, and inclusion in healthcare.
