Job Title: Data Engineer

iTrust Human Capital Management is seeking a highly skilled Data Engineer to join our team. As a Data Engineer, you will play a crucial role in designing and implementing data pipelines, ensuring efficient data flow and transformation.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and maintain robust data pipelines and ETL processes to support business needs.
  • Integrate new data sources and ensure data quality and integrity throughout the process.
  • Design and optimize data models and database structures to support business requirements.
  • Utilize programming languages such as Python, Java, or Scala for data processing and manipulation.
  • Implement and manage big data technologies like Hadoop, Spark, and Kafka to handle large-scale data sets.
  • Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to understand data requirements and deliver scalable solutions.
  • Ensure compliance with security protocols and maintain the necessary security clearances.
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in data engineering or related roles.
  • Proven experience in designing and implementing data pipelines and ETL processes.
  • Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, Java, or Scala.
  • Strong understanding of big data technologies such as Hadoop, Spark, and Kafka.
  • Experience with data modeling, database design, and optimization.
  • Additional certifications in big data technologies such as Cloudera or Hortonworks preferred.
  • Current DoD TS/SCI Security Clearance.
  • Ability to obtain and maintain access to government agency facilities and computer systems throughout the duration of the contract.
