Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Distribution Associate to join our Warehouse Operations team at Ingram Content Group.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Unload cartons from conveyor lines and sort them onto pallets based on warehouse zones.
  • Remove products from boxes, verify titles and locations, and place them on shelves in an orderly manner.
  • Break down boxes and packing materials.
  • Obtain picking lists or task group assignments from leadership, input orders into production systems, and retrieve cartons.
  • Pull and verify the correct number of each item from shelves based on task assignments using paper, Radio Frequency (RF), or voice-activated processes and place books on carts.
  • Scan orders out of production when completed and push carts to the correct staging area.
  • Check for damages and verify data on customer orders, including entry numbers and book quantities while packing orders.
  • Determine the proper packing method for various size orders to arrange books in the most compact manner onto corrugated cardboard boxes, t-boards, or flats according to allowable weights for shipping methods.

Requirements:

  • 6 months of consecutive work experience.
  • 6 months of work experience that included walking, standing, lifting/carrying, pushing/pulling, gripping/grasping, bending, squatting/kneeling, twisting/turning, climbing, crawling, reaching above shoulders, and typing/keyboard.

Schedule:

Our team works a variety of shifts, including Sunday to Tuesday (7a-7p) and every other Wednesday, Wednesday to Friday (7a-7p) and every other Wednesday, Sunday to Wednesday (8:15p-7am), and Sunday to Wednesday (7pm-5:45pm). Overtime is available when needed.
