NV Energy is seeking an experienced Project Director to lead the delivery and execution of complex projects in the utility industry. This senior-level role requires a strong track record of project management, with expertise in coordinating large-scale initiatives and ensuring successful outcomes.
Responsibilities- Develop and execute project plans, including safety protocols, scope definition, cost control, schedule management, cash flow optimization, quality assurance, and risk mitigation.
- Lead cross-functional teams comprising engineers, technicians, and other stakeholders to achieve project objectives.
- Collaborate with customers and stakeholders to understand their needs and develop solutions that meet their expectations.
- Manage changes to project plans, ensuring minimal disruption to stakeholders and maintaining alignment with company goals.
- Measure and communicate project performance to key stakeholders, providing regular updates on progress and identifying areas for improvement.
To succeed in this role, you will need:
- A Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field from an accredited institution.
- At least 7 years of experience in utility design and/or operations, with 2+ years of project management experience.
- Demonstrated knowledge of utility engineering practices, critical path method scheduling, work breakdown structure, utility accounting practices, economic analysis, and company policies.
- Excellent analytical, interpersonal, and communication skills, with the ability to direct, coordinate, and review the work of multi-discipline project teams.
The estimated annual salary range for this position is $115,900 (min) to $136,300 (mid), plus up to 15% short-term incentive plan target opportunity.
