Role Summary: Deliver high-quality physical therapy services to patients, developing and implementing personalized treatment plans based on their unique needs and diagnoses.

  • Assess patients to identify areas for improvement and create targeted interventions.
  • Collaborate with patients and their families to establish goals and discuss treatment progress.
  • Provide education and training to patients, family members, and hospital staff on physical therapy techniques and procedures.
  • Ensure a safe and effective treatment environment, maintaining accurate records as required.
  • Offer in-service education to staff and clinical education to students, promoting professional growth and development.

Job Requirements: A Bachelor's degree in Physical Therapy is required; a Master's degree or Clinical doctorate in Physical Therapy is preferred. A current New York State license or limited permit is required. At least one year of experience in an acute rehabilitation setting with a Bachelor's degree is required. Pediatric experience is highly valued.

Physical Demands: Occasional exertion in excess of 100 lbs force, frequent exertion in excess of 50 lbs force, and consistent exertion in excess of 20 lbs force. Consistent balancing, stooping, kneeling, standing, walking, pushing, pulling, and lifting are performed in combination. Consistent use of fine and gross motor bilateral hand dexterity.

Salary Range: $45.26-$57.04/hour, depending on location, specialty, years of experience, education, and other factors.
