Job Summary

Centuri Group, Inc. is seeking a skilled Gas Utility Foreman to join our team. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for coordinating equipment and crews to ensure safe and efficient completion of projects.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Coordinate equipment and crews to ensure safe and efficient completion of projects
  • Coach and train crew members on proper use and process to ensure safety and quality of work
  • Oversee Dig Safe marking and coordinate any issues with utilities
  • Support the crew by operating equipment, pipefitting, and laboring to exhibit teamwork
  • Complete paperwork, reports, and status updates
  • Resolve work problems
  • Maintain all industry required Operator Qualifications
  • Perform other tasks as requested by leadership

Requirements:

  • High School diploma or equivalent
  • 3+ years experience in gas utility industry

Work Environment:

Work sites are outdoors in potentially extreme weather conditions. All worksite safety instructions are written and spoken in English; must be fluent in English.

Physical Demands:

  • Prolonged and repeated lifting (including overhead, up to 50lbs)

  • Reaching and feeling
  • Crouching and crawling

Legal Requirements:

  • Pass pre-employment, random, post-accident, and reasonable suspicion drug screens
  • Provide valid US work authorization documents for E-Verify
  • Satisfactory results of pre-employment background check results
  • Valid driver's license with clean driving record
  • Pre-employment medical fit-for-duty test; hold/obtain DOT medical card
  • Join and maintain Union membership
