Key Responsibilities- Assist healthcare professionals in delivering patient care by preparing examination rooms, obtaining vital signs, and documenting medical histories.
- Process recommendations from healthcare providers, such as medication orders, referrals, and diagnostic tests, to ensure accuracy and timely execution.
- Provide patient education and support by explaining treatment plans, medications, and post-care instructions, addressing any questions or concerns.
- Handle administrative tasks such as scheduling appointments, maintaining patient documentation, managing medical supplies, and assisting with medical billing and insurance claims.
- Support medical professionals during appointments and clinic visits, providing crucial patient history information to best treat the patient.
- EDUCATION: High School Diploma or equivalent and Diploma Practical Nursing
- LICENSURE/CERTIFICATION/REGISTRY/LISTING: Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) licensure: Successfully pass NC Nursing Boards for LPN and maintain a current and continuous unrestricted LPN License.
- BLS (CPR)-American Red Cross or AHA Healthcare Provider
