We are seeking an experienced Cook to join our Dining team at RiverWoods Exeter. As a key member of our culinary team, you will be responsible for preparing and serving high-quality meals to our residents.

Responsibilities
  • Food Preparation: Prepare all hot and cold food items on the menu for residents and personnel according to production sheets and standardized recipes.
  • Sanitation and Safety: Maintain the highest standards of sanitation, food handling practices in performing food production tasks.
  • Team Collaboration: Meet daily with the Sous Chef and/or Director of Culinary Operations to review and confirm daily production amounts, culinary techniques and timing for resident meal services and special functions.
  • Professional Development: Attend in-service trainings to stay up-to-date on the latest culinary techniques and best practices.
  • Work Environment: Maintain a clean, pristine and safe work environment.
Requirements
  • Education: High School Diploma or GED/HiSET.
  • Culinary Experience: 2-4 years of culinary experience preferred.
  • Certifications: ServSafe Certificate preferred.
