Packaging Engineering Expert

As a Packaging Engineering Expert at Kimberly-Clark, you will be responsible for overseeing the complete packaging development process, including the creation of packaging designs, prototype development, and performance testing.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Understanding and continually improving the capability of existing packaging and packaging equipment to meet customer and end-user requirements.
  • Identifying and implementing cost-saving initiatives related to packaging materials, labor, efficiency, transportation, and storage.
  • Establishing and maintaining relationships with packaging suppliers to stay up-to-date on packaging and packaging equipment developments.
  • Designing corrugated, carton board, paper wrap, and film structures.
  • Conceptualizing and executing experiments to generate relevant data.
  • Expertly applying industry-standard test procedures for packaging materials and packages.
  • Developing a strong understanding of material suppliers' manufacturing processes.
  • Staying informed about industry trends and procedures related to packaging materials and technologies.
