Job Summary

As the Recruiting and Onboarding Specialist, you will play a crucial role in building and maintaining a high-quality talent pipeline for our current and future workforce needs. This position involves full-cycle recruitment activities, onboarding processes, and other assigned projects.

Key Responsibilities

Establish and maintain relationships with hiring managers to determine hiring needs.
Develop and update job descriptions to attract top talent.
Utilize web-based technology to post positions, track the hiring process, and analyze hiring trends.
Conduct pre-screening calls to identify qualified candidates.
Coordinate interview scheduling with hiring managers.
Extend offers to candidates and handle negotiations appropriately.
Conduct reference and background checks on applicants, facilitate drug testing, and ensure compliance with regulations.
Coordinate first-day/orientation details, onboarding process, and Paycor profile for new hires.
Ensure new hires have necessary IT setup, uniforms, and badge.
Ensure all new hire paperwork is complete, including I-9 documentation.
Manage priorities in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.
Ensure fair employment practices are followed.
Perform special projects and other duties as assigned.

Requirements

Bachelor's degree required.
At least two years of experience working as a recruiter in the healthcare industry.
Experience in negotiation and making compensation recommendations.
Working knowledge of local, state, and federal laws and regulations related to employment.
ATS system experience is required. Paycor knowledge is a plus.
HRIS experience required. Paycor knowledge is a plus.
Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software.
SHRM or PHR certification is a plus.

Physical Requirements

Ability to stand, walk, and sit for an extended period of time.
Ability to communicate in English.
Ability to see within normal parameters.
Ability to hear within normal range.
Ability to use hands, arms, and legs within the specifications of the job.
Must be able to lift up to 15 pounds at times.
