Key Responsibilities- Provide medical care and treatment to patients, including routine examinations, diagnoses, and treatment for illnesses and injuries.
- Collaborate with clinical staff to ensure seamless patient care and effective communication.
- Participate in a physician call schedule and offer patient meeting slots as deemed necessary.
- Assist with compliance to safety, environmental, infection control, quality improvement, and other regulatory standards.
- Implement standard and transmission-based precautions to ensure patient safety during clinic visits.
- Completed residency training in Gastroenterology.
- Doctoral Degree in Medicine or Osteopathy.
- American Heart Association, Basic Life Support-HCP, Advanced Cardiac Life Support, and Pediatric Advanced Life Support Certification.
- Medical Physician Licensure through the Louisiana State Board of Medical Examiners.
