The Opportunity

We are on the lookout for a seasoned Senior Software Engineer to become a vital part of our dynamic and fast-paced team. Your Responsibilities:

As a member of the Developer Experience team, your primary focus will be to enhance the productivity and scalability of our development efforts. You will achieve this by providing user-friendly development environments and collaborating with peers and product managers to ensure a seamless developer experience across our multi-tenant web application platform. The systems you work on will be robust, high-performing, and continuously evolving to meet critical development needs while adhering to strict deployment protocols.

In this role, you will collaborate with top-tier designers and engineers to integrate with third-party content partners and expand existing Adobe ecosystems.

Key Responsibilities Include:

  • Designing and implementing a reliable Continuous Delivery Pipeline for the development, building, testing, and deployment of desktop, mobile, and service offerings.
  • Maintaining and supporting internal cloud-based automation systems, including infrastructure, build and test tools, and automation orchestration.
  • Gathering, refining, and prioritizing requirements from the engineering team.
  • Collaborating closely with engineering team members to integrate automation tools into daily workflows.
  • Creating tools, dashboards, and related infrastructure to enhance the development experience for our engineers.
  • Working effectively both independently and as part of a fast-moving global development team, ensuring clear and constructive communication.
  • Promoting the growth of a DevOps culture and mindset within the team.

Qualifications:

  • Located in a major tech hub.
  • Educational Background: Bachelor's degree in computer science or a related discipline; a Master's degree is preferred.
  • 7+ years of experience in build and release infrastructure.
  • Proven experience in developing software across multiple devices and platforms.
  • Familiarity with automated building and testing processes for desktop, service, and web-delivered software.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Experience with Linux, Mac, and Windows systems administration.
  • Hands-on experience with Continuous Integration and Continuous Deployment tools such as Jenkins, CircleCI, Travis CI, and GitHub Actions; familiarity with container orchestration platforms like Kubernetes is advantageous.
  • Experience with developer productivity tools such as Jira, Confluence, Slack, and VS Code extensions or plugins.
  • Familiarity with relevant automation technologies, including TypeScript/Node, Python, Groovy, Bash, Webpack, RushJS, npm, Kubernetes, and Docker.
  • Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS and Azure.
  • Familiarity with Agile development methodologies, including Scrum.
