Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Cybersecurity Engineer to join our team at Broadcom Corporation. The ideal candidate will have experience in designing and developing high-quality industry-leading NGFW security software features and services.

The successful candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, and delivering complex distributed architectures, influencing their adoption by peer groups, and working with management to get them implemented.

Additionally, the selected individual will influence and coordinate with other development, testing, and deployment teams to ensure feature completion and seamless interworking. They will also analyze risks associated with existing initiatives, develop mitigation plans, and address them in a timely manner.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Designing and developing high-quality NGFW security software features and services
  • Influencing complex distributed architectures and getting them adopted by peer groups
  • Working with management to implement new architectures
  • Collaborating with development, testing, and deployment teams to ensure feature completion and seamless interworking
  • Analyzing risks associated with existing initiatives and developing mitigation plans

Requirements:

  • Proficient in C++ and C programming languages
  • Experience in Internet stack, including Ethernet, IP, TCP, UDP, ICMP, and L7 protocols
  • Experience in kernel IO and driver subsystems is a plus
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and debugging skills
  • Deep interest in internet technology and security concepts, with emphasis on firewall architectures and implementation
  • Understanding of distributed systems development and software development methodologies

Benefits:

  • Competitive annual base salary range: $141,000 - $225,000
  • Discretionary annual bonus and equity in accordance with relevant plan documents
