Spiritual Care Specialist

Salary: $55,000 - $65,000 per year (based on experience)
About the RoleWe are seeking a compassionate and skilled Spiritual Care Specialist to join our team at Andwell Health Partners. As a key member of our hospice care team, you will provide emotional and spiritual support to patients and their families during their end-of-life journey.
Responsibilities- Assess and address bereavement needs of hospice patients and families
- Develop and implement individualized goals/outcomes based spiritual plans of care
- Employ a wide range of skills to address patient/family needs related to emotional and spiritual preparation for death
- Document all clinical work in the electronic medical record according to established policies/procedures
- Communicate effectively with the hospice interdisciplinary team to ensure coordination of care
- Master of Divinity (MDiv) or related master's degree involving Theological studies preferred
- Bachelor level degree related to theological studies considered
- One unit of Clinical Pastoral Education (CPE) or its equivalent is preferred
- Comfort in an interfaith environment
- Hospice/experience preferred
- Minimum of one year of experience as a Chaplain, preferably in a health care/Hospice setting
- A valid Drivers License and reliable car with proof of insurance
