Collision Repair Specialist

DeSoto Collision Center is seeking a skilled Collision Repair Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for repairing damaged vehicle bodies in accordance with factory and dealership specifications.
Key Responsibilities:
- De-trim and disassemble vehicles
- Utilize parts carts for parts
- Perform pre-pulls for repair vs replace decisions
- Assist in identifying parts needed for repairs
- Perform quality repairs without passing on defects
- Utilize technical information sheets along with work orders for all repairs
- Follow DCC's quality control process
- Keep work area clean and organized to maintain a safe environment
- Comply with all DCC safety rules, guidelines, and standards
- Perform other duties as assigned by Manager to ensure efficient and effective repairs
Requirements:
- Valid Driver's License
- Knowledge of manufacturers' repair processes
- Demonstrates commitment to continued learning by ongoing participation in I-Car Pro level training and other industry required training
- Reliable attendance required
- Ability to read and understand written estimates and work orders
Working Conditions:
This is a physically demanding position. Must have the ability to stand for long periods of time during the repair of a vehicle. Must be able to walk, sit, bend, push/pull, kneel, crouch, reach or crawl frequently. Must be able to use hands efficiently in handling vehicle parts. Ability to lift up to 70 pounds. Will be exposed to noise, vibration, dust, fumes, paint, and other hazardous and non-hazardous substances.
