We are seeking a motivated Design Engineer I to become a part of our dynamic team at Hitachi Astemo. In this role, you will contribute to the Mechanical Hardware division, focusing on the design of mechanical enclosures for automotive control systems across multiple product categories. Your responsibilities will include leveraging CAD software, performing Finite Element Analysis (FEA) and Computational Fluid Dynamics (CFD), overseeing project milestones, and ensuring adherence to design standards.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop mechanical packaging solutions for automotive control units
  • Produce and update quality assurance documentation
  • Employ CAD software for design tasks
  • Conduct mechanical evaluations
  • Manage workload effectively to meet project timelines
  • Create comprehensive technical documentation

Qualifications:
