Key Responsibilities- Conduct double-checks of medication using barcode scanning technology to ensure accuracy and safety.
- Prepare sterile parenteral medications for home infusion and coordinate care with liaisons and RN Care Coordinators.
- Manage patient paperwork and billing documentation, as well as assign medication pockets in Automated Dispensing Cabinets.
- Maintain controlled substance monitoring and inventory, conducting routine audits to prevent diversion.
- Procure medications and pharmacy supplies, processing invoices and monitoring inventory levels.
- Conduct analysis of Automated Dispensing Cabinets Activity to optimize inventory and vend to refill ratio.
- Must be 18 years of age with education and/or experience needed to meet required functional competencies.
- 0 to 2 years of experience as a Pharmacy Technician.
- Registered Pharmacy Technician - MN Board of Pharmacy required upon hire.
- Certified Pharmacy Technician - Pharmacy Technician Certification Board required within 180 Days.
