Educational Support Specialist

Knoxville Preparatory School is seeking a qualified Educational Support Specialist to join our team. In this role, you will play a critical part in ensuring the success of our students.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist teachers with instructional materials and educational activities.
- Support students with disabilities, including toileting, lifting, and feeding as needed.
- Monitor student behavior and intervene when necessary to prevent conflicts.
- Attend IEP meetings and contribute to developing individualized education plans.
- Participate in staff meetings and contribute to creating a positive school culture.
Requirements
- A high school diploma or equivalent.
- Sufficient experience working with students with disabilities.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
About the Salary
The estimated annual salary for this position is $45,000 - $55,000, depending on experience. Knoxville Preparatory School offers a comprehensive benefits package, including health insurance, retirement plans, and paid time off.
