Electrical Design Lead Opportunity

We are seeking an experienced Electrical Design Lead to join our team at The Haskell Company. As a key member of our engineering team, you will be responsible for overseeing project designs, client coordination, and construction administration across various sectors.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead and mentor electrical engineering staff within a diverse range of projects.
  • Serve as the project manager for electrical design, including power distribution, grounding, lightning protection, lighting, fire alarms, telecommunications, and security systems.
  • Document calculations to ensure design compliance with codes and client-specific requirements.
  • Collaborate with project managers to meet schedules and deliver high-quality submissions.
  • Review contractor RFIs, shop drawings, and product submittals.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering.
  • 8+ years of experience in electrical design for buildings/facilities.
  • Experience in healthcare, industrial, infrastructure, or manufacturing is a plus.
  • Professional Engineer (P.E.) license.
  • Revit experience preferred.
  • A desire to lead, mentor, and grow an engineering design team.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills.
  • Availability to work in our Charlotte office at least two days a week.
