EDUCATIONAL QUALIFICATIONS:
High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.
EXPERIENCE QUALIFICATIONS:
- Minimum of one year experience in a custodial operations environment or similar setting.

- Some Lead Worker roles may require proficiency in computer operations, including Microsoft Word and Excel for spreadsheet management.
- Must be eligible for coverage under agency insurance if operating agency vehicle, possess a good driving record, valid driver's license, and/or required level of personal auto insurance.
- Must successfully complete a background check as per company standards.
- Strong listening, verbal, and written communication skills.
- Ability to communicate with discretion and maintain confidentiality.
- Competence in spoken communication with adequate volume.
- Ability to effectively foster and maintain positive working relationships with management and colleagues.
- At least one year of experience in a similar leadership role is preferred.
Supervisor/Assistant Project Manager/Project Manager
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
- Orient new staff members by explaining their responsibilities, providing a familiarization tour, and assigning reference worksheets.
- Instruct employees on procedures for reporting and addressing fires, hazardous conditions, and urgent repair needs.
- Ensure personnel are trained to execute tasks in accordance with safe and current cleaning protocols.
- Develop work schedules for employees, assign tasks, monitor performance, and ensure compliance with time motion forms and company regulations.
- Accountable for carrying and maintaining functionality of the company-issued pager (if assigned) during work hours for communication with supervisors and office staff.
- Responsible for securing all buildings and assigned vehicles, ensuring keys are managed according to policy/supervisor instructions.
- Oversee that scheduled maintenance of assigned vehicles is performed and that employees operate vehicles safely in accordance with company policies and governmental regulations.
- Coordinate all aspects related to the successful execution of the project with the supervisor, including recommendations for hiring and addressing performance or conduct issues as necessary.
- Schedule regular meetings with team members to ensure adherence to the performance work statement (PWS) as directed by the supervisor.
- Ensure the use of personal protective equipment as required.
- Conduct daily inspections of assigned areas to confirm timely and quality cleaning, address discrepancies promptly, and notify the supervisor of any buildings or areas that were scheduled for cleaning but were inaccessible.
- Maintain inventory of supplies, ensuring proper labeling, organized stocking, and timely ordering to guarantee adequate availability.
- Report operational issues beyond your capacity to the supervisor.
- Promptly report all on-the-job accidents/incidents to the supervisor.
- Periodically inspect assigned equipment and report any broken, unsafe, or faulty items to the supervisor.
- Notify the supervisor regarding customer complaints.
- Perform additional duties as necessary to meet janitorial contract obligations or adapt to customer needs.
- Some positions may require utilizing a computer operating on the Windows system for word processing with Microsoft Word and completing spreadsheets using Microsoft Excel.

11. Grounds (cleaning playground equipment, gathering areas, and trash pick-up)
WORKING CONDITIONS/PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:
- Ability to engage in conversation, use telephones, and access emergency information systems.
- Capability to move independently across various surfaces and situations.

- Ability to retrieve items from high and low locations.
- Ability to perceive size, temperature, shapes, and textures.
- Physical stamina to work at least 8 hours per day.
