Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Warehouse Supervisor to oversee the day-to-day operations of our warehouse at the Iovance Cell Therapy Center in Navy Yard, PA. The successful candidate will be responsible for allocating resources, monitoring productivity, and implementing strategies to improve efficiency, compliance, and customer service.

Key Responsibilities
  • Schedule daily workloads and evaluate team performance against key performance indicators.
  • Monitor the flow of goods and advise management of potential gaps or misses.
  • Develop and implement educational curriculum for warehouse standard operating procedures.
  • Research and reconcile inventory discrepancies, and recommend preventive measures.
  • Lead continuous improvement opportunities and lean six sigma projects.
  • Monitor equipment and facility conditions, and update operational procedures as necessary.
  • Lead audit preparation workshops and implement corrective actions.
  • Assign warehouse cleaning duties and transport trash to disposal areas.
  • Participate in scheduling technical training on relevant SOPs and certifications.
  • Adhere to safety warehouse operations and contents, security procedures, and protocols.
Requirements
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to collaborate across disciplines.
  • Excellent organization skills and ability to prioritize effectively.
  • Comfortable in a fast-paced small company environment with minimal direction.
  • Extensive walking and repetitive physical motion required.
  • Ability to work well in a team setting.
  • Proficient in MS Word, Excel, Outlook, and warehouse management computer software.
  • Valid driver's license and willingness to work flexible hours, including overtime, weekends, and staggered shifts.
Preferred Qualifications
  • 7+ years of experience working in a GMP warehouse setting or in logistics experience operating material handling equipment.
  • Experience and/or certification in operating material handling equipment preferred.
Work Environment

This position will primarily work in a warehouse setting exposed to loud noise levels, vibration, chemicals, dust, mechanical hazards, moving objects, forklifts, or other vehicles. This position may be exposed to cold and hot temperatures, inclement weather conditions, chemicals, biohazardous waste, mechanical hazards, and hazardous physical substances and fumes.
