Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Insurance Trainee to join our team as a Risk Management Assistant in Business Insurance. This is an excellent opportunity for individuals who want to develop their skills in risk management and insurance underwriting.

About the Role

The successful candidate will work closely with experienced professionals in the department, assisting with administrative tasks, data entry, and research projects. They will have the opportunity to gain hands-on experience in various aspects of risk management and insurance operations.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist with mail desk and loss run desk duties, including responding to requests, creating documents, and maintaining records.
  • Provide clerical support with tasks such as copying, faxing, and assembling binders.
  • Sort, scan, and distribute mail and communications daily.
  • Process Loss Run reports and follow up with carriers as needed.
  • Request loss runs based on monthly reports and carrier requirements.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you should have:

  • A bachelor's degree or ability to receive the degree within two to three months, or 1-3 years of experience in a professional administrative or customer service capacity.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office software (Word, Excel, and Outlook).
  • Successful work history demonstrating reliability and a positive attitude.
  • Demonstrated ability to prioritize tasks, set goals, and solve problems effectively.
