Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Mechanical Engineer to lead our mechanical design team. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for designing and developing building mechanical systems for new and existing facilities.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead mechanical design on a variety of projects, from concept phase through construction
  • Perform HVAC load calculations, energy models, life cycle cost analysis, and ventilation calculations in compliance with applicable codes and energy efficiency standards
  • Size equipment and develop layouts for airside and hydronic systems
  • Develop specifications using MasterSpec
  • Coordinate with other disciplines, internal teams, and external stakeholders (vendors, clients, and contractors)

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering (BSME) required
  • 15+ years in mechanical design, specifically related to design and construction documentation for mechanical, plumbing, and performance-based fire protection systems in new and existing facilities
  • Working knowledge of REVIT and AutoCad systems
  • Comprehensive understanding of ICC building codes, ASHRAE design manuals and guides, and USGBC LEED requirements, specifically for new or existing facilities
