Job Summary:

As a Quality Assurance Specialist at Allied Telesis, you will play a critical role in ensuring the quality of our networking products. This includes working with quality engineers to set up and calibrate equipment, performing rework and quality testing, and using sophisticated programs to collect and evaluate data. You will also work with engineers to conduct experiments, assemble and test system solution products, and debug and characterize defects.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform quality inspections on customer returns, products in receipt of return, pre-delivery products, and products in shipping and receiving.
  • Audit production lines to ensure compliance with quality standards.
  • Control nonconforming products and implement preventive and corrective actions.
  • Assist in product and process failure analysis and perform basic statistical analysis.
  • Perform prototype testing and debugging, system integration assembly and testing, and test experiments.
  • Interface with test engineers, quality engineers, and manufacturing engineers on test experiment and manufacturing test issues.
  • Interface with warehouse and business units on quality assurance-related activities.
  • Assist in the development and maintenance of procedures.

Requirements:

  • 1-2 years of related experience.
  • Professional and courteous demeanor with strong written, oral, and organizational skills.
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision and guidance.
  • Ability to maintain a professional demeanor during stressful situations.
  • High degree of proficiency with MS Office applications.
