We are seeking a highly motivated Junior Financial Analyst to support our Heart Failure (HF) Division's R&D/SG&A activities in a fast-paced environment. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing timely and accurate consolidated forecasts, reporting packages, executive-level presentation content, and analytics to functional leadership, HF consolidation teams, and the corporate as a whole.
Key Responsibilities- Generate Monthly Reporting Packages: The successful candidate will generate monthly reporting packages for DVPs, including financial reports, dashboards, and analytics.
- Participate in Month-End Close Activities: The candidate will participate in month-end close activities, including completing journal entries, reconciling month-end results, and driving reporting to HF HQ.
- Drive and Support the Coordination and Consolidation of Rolling Latest Best Estimates (RLBEs): The successful candidate will drive and support the coordination and consolidation of RLBEs, ensuring timely and accurate reporting.
- Develop Sustainable/Repeatable Reporting Templates: The candidate will develop sustainable and repeatable reporting templates for quick and digestible analysis.
- Support Analysis and Data Aggregation for Projects: The successful candidate will support analysis and data aggregation for projects with the Finance Director, ensuring accurate and timely reporting.
- Participate and/or Lead Special Projects: The candidate will participate and/or lead special projects from genesis to completion, driving business outcomes and process improvements.
- Serve as Business Partner: The successful candidate will serve as a business partner for a key function within the business, providing financial expertise and support.
- Innovate and Improve Processes: The candidate will innovate and improve processes, identifying opportunities for efficiency gains and implementing changes to drive business outcomes.
- Develop into an Abbott Systems Expert: The successful candidate will develop into an Abbott systems expert, leveraging digital tools and technologies to drive business outcomes.
- Assist with Ad Hoc Financial Requests: The candidate will assist with ad hoc financial requests from leadership, providing timely and accurate support.
- Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Finance, or Accounting: The successful candidate will hold a bachelor's degree in business administration, finance, or accounting, or an equivalent combination of education and work experience.
- 0-2 Years of Finance or Accounting Experience: The candidate will have 0-2 years of finance or accounting experience, with no prior experience required for this entry-level position.
