We are seeking a highly skilled Signal Processing Engineer to join our team at Leidos Innovations Center. As a key member of our Electronic Warfare (EW) program, you will be responsible for developing and improving the robustness and efficacy of sensors and signals in complex environments.
Key Responsibilities- Develop, model, and test algorithms in Matlab, Simulink, or C++ to enhance sensor and signal performance.
- Analyze results from simulation or real data to identify root causes and trends, and develop novel and advanced algorithms to improve performance.
- Participate in lab-based and field testing to validate algorithm performance and identify areas for improvement.
- Support marketing and business development initiatives to promote our EW capabilities.
- Engage with customers to understand their needs and develop solutions to meet those needs.
- Must be a U.S. Citizen.
- Active Secret clearance.
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Physics, Computer Science, Mathematics, or related field.
- 4+ years' experience in radar signal processing.
- Fluent with tools such as MATLAB, Linux, Mathematica, Python, Simulink, and languages such as C/C++, Java, etc.
- Working knowledge of areas such as digital filtering, spectral estimation, detection and estimation theory, linear algebra, and stochastic processes.
- Demonstrated strong oral and written communication skills.
- Ability to work in a team environment and independently.
- Adaptability to new challenges with a strong motivation to grow and learn in new areas.
- Active TS/SCI clearance.
- Master's degree in Electrical Engineering, Physics, Computer Science, Mathematics, or related field.
- Task lead or team leadership experience.
- Experience translating functional requirements into tasks.
- Experience working in areas of modeling and simulation (M&S), radar, adaptive radar, signals processing, algorithm development, synthetic aperture radar (SAR), or similar fields.
