Job Summary
Ryder is seeking a highly skilled Transportation Operations Manager to oversee the day-to-day operations within an assigned function. This role is responsible for all aspects of Operations and Account Management, including leadership for a team of drivers, scheduling, and direct communication.
Key Responsibilities
- Customer Service Satisfaction: Manage customer expectations and ensure high levels of satisfaction.
- Staffing Performance Management: Develop and manage exempt and non-exempt employees to achieve operational excellence.
- Day-to-Day Planning and Scheduling: Oversee the planning and scheduling of operations to ensure efficient use of resources.
- Health and Safety Management: Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations and maintain a safe working environment.
- Regulatory Compliance: Ensure compliance with state, local, and federal regulations.
Additional Responsibilities
- Perform Other Duties as Assigned: Support the team as needed to achieve operational goals.
Requirements
- High-Level Analytical Ability: Ability to analyze complex problems and make informed decisions.

Qualifications
- High School Diploma or Equivalent: Required.
- Bachelor's Degree in Business, Logistics, or Supply Chain: Preferred.
- Relevant Experience: Two or more years of experience in supply chain, logistics, warehouse, or industry-related fields.
- Direct Supervisory Experience: One or more years of direct supervisory or leadership experience.
