Job Summary:

As a Pharmacist (Full or Part Time) at Walgreens, you will play a critical role in providing exceptional patient care and clinical expertise. You will be responsible for dispensing medications, counseling patients on proper medication use, and providing immunizations and other healthcare services. You will also be expected to maintain accurate records, ensure compliance with regulatory requirements, and contribute to the efficient operation of the pharmacy.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Dispense medications and provide patient counseling on proper medication use.
  • Administer immunizations and other healthcare services as needed.
  • Maintain accurate records and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • Contribute to the efficient operation of the pharmacy.
  • Collaborate with healthcare providers and other team members to ensure seamless patient care.

Requirements:

  • BS in Pharmacy or Pharmacist Degree from an accredited educational institution.
  • Current pharmacist licensure in the states within the district.
  • Experience performing prescription dispensing activities that demonstrate a strong working knowledge of applicable state and federal controlled substance laws.
  • Certified Immunizer or willing to become an immunizer within 90 days of hire.
