Café Specialist Job Description

The Café Specialist is responsible for delivering exceptional customer experiences by preparing and serving food and beverages in a clean and safe environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare and serve food and beverages to guests, ensuring high-quality standards and presentation.
• Maintain a clean and organized workspace, adhering to health and safety guidelines.
• Provide excellent customer service, responding to guest inquiries and resolving issues promptly.
• Operate cash registers and credit card machines, handling transactions accurately and efficiently.
• Stock and maintain inventory levels, ordering supplies as needed.
• Collaborate with colleagues to achieve team goals and objectives.

Requirements

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced individual to join our team as a Café Specialist. The ideal candidate will have a high school diploma or equivalent and 1-2 years of experience in a fast-paced, guest-facing environment.

• High School Diploma or GED equivalent
• 1-2 years experience in a fast-paced, guest-facing environment
• Equivalent combination of education and experience will be considered

Computer Skills

The successful candidate will have proficient experience in Microsoft Office programs.

Certifications and Licenses

The Café Specialist will be required to obtain a Food Handler Permit and Alcohol Beverage Certification as designated by state and local agencies.
