Overview:
We are currently seeking an Armed Security Specialist to enhance our dedicated team.

Compensation:
$25.00 per hour


Preferred candidates will possess prior experience in law enforcement, military security, corrections, or related security roles.

Qualifications:
Security Specialists, also known as Security Officers, are responsible for deterring criminal activity, safeguarding property, and enforcing regulations on-site. Some may monitor surveillance systems and alarms from a fixed location, while others conduct patrols and security checks.

In corporate environments and manufacturing facilities, Security Specialists protect both equipment and personnel, verifying the credentials of individuals and vehicles entering and exiting the premises.

Armed Security Specialists are required to carry and maintain a firearm in a professional manner. Candidates must possess their own firearm, duty belt, and Level 3 holster.

Responsibilities:
Deter criminal behavior and misconduct

Notify violators of rule infractions, such as loitering or possession of prohibited items

Conduct patrols of both the interior and exterior of buildings to identify potential safety and security risks


Respond to alarms, distress calls, or emergencies such as fires, injuries, or unauthorized individuals by contacting local emergency services.

Ensure that reports, records, and other documentation are accurate, complete, and submitted promptly.


Address unusual or emergency situations at the client's site using the appropriate level of response, including armed intervention, following established protocols.

Maintain proficiency in the use of all assigned protective equipment, restraint devices, and firearms.

Additional duties may be assigned by management.

Qualifications:
Must be at least 21 years of age

High school diploma or GED

Valid state licensing

Basic computer proficiency

Professional demeanor and appearance

Ability to multitask and prioritize effectively

Strong verbal and written communication skills

Minimum of 1 year of customer service experience required

Possession of an approved firearm, duty belt, and Level 3 holster

Must successfully pass pre-employment screening (background and drug tests)

This position may require occasional crawling, crouching, climbing stairs, kneeling, running, sitting, standing, stooping, and walking for extended periods.
