Job Overview:

HexaQuEST Global, Inc. is seeking a skilled Healthcare Business Consultant to become a vital part of our dynamic Medicaid Management Information System (MMIS) team. The selected candidate will engage in our established Member, Managed Care, and/or Claims and Provider Reimbursement sectors to facilitate the development, testing, and execution of projects and enhancements that align with the strategic goals of the MassHealth program, particularly initiatives aimed at benefiting the member community.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Facilitate and engage in collaborative application design sessions with stakeholders.
  • Possess a strong understanding of the Systems Development Life Cycle (SDLC) and Agile methodologies.
  • Formulate test strategies, scenarios, and cases based on documented requirements.
  • Conduct and assess test executions, providing sign-off on testing components.
  • Document requirements and actively participate in their development and validation.
  • Assist in creating training materials and documentation for end-users as necessary.
  • Oversee stabilization phases of releases, monitoring system changes, and developing corrective strategies.
  • Collaborate with vendors to ensure comprehensive definition and testing of business requirements.
  • Communicate updates and modifications to relevant stakeholders.
  • Represent MMIS in various business meetings and provide support to fellow business analysts as needed.
  • Perform data queries and analysis as required.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Demonstrated proficiency in business analysis across all phases of the system project lifecycle.
  • Strong understanding of HIPAA claims and payment transaction processing.
  • Exceptional data analysis skills with proficiency in SQL.
  • Outstanding communication and documentation abilities.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills to effectively engage with project managers, developers, business analysts, systems analysts, and business users/stakeholders.
  • Proven ability to work independently and collaboratively within project teams, delivering relevant system analysis services.
  • Highly analytical mindset with the capability to independently analyze, document findings, and propose solutions.
Education and Experience:
  • A Bachelor’s degree or higher with a minimum of 3 years of relevant experience in healthcare.
  • Support program staff, vendors, and other stakeholders with inquiries related to MMIS.
