Job Responsibilities:

As a Radiology Support Specialist, you will be an integral part of our Radiology team, providing essential assistance with various patient care tasks, inventory management, and administrative duties.

Key Duties Include:

  • Offering ancillary support to the Radiology Clinical team.
  • Monitoring and managing supplies for the General Diagnostic section of Radiology.
  • Assisting patients during their visits for diagnostic procedures.
  • Transporting patients within the department and coordinating with nursing units as necessary.

Qualifications:

We are looking for candidates who possess:

  • The ability to stand for extended periods, walk, bend, and lift a minimum of 30 lbs.
  • Basic computer skills.
  • Experience in healthcare or customer service is advantageous.

Additional Information:

Location: MSK Commack, Long Island

Schedule: Flexible shifts on weekdays between 8 AM and 8 PM, Monday to Friday, with potential weekend hours from 8 AM to 6 PM. Occasional holiday shifts may be required.

Reporting Structure: Reports to the Assistant Manager, Regional Radiology.
