Mammography Technologist

We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Mammogram Technologist to join our team at Imaging Associates Of Alaska. As a key member of our imaging team, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional patient care and contributing to the delivery of high-quality diagnostic services.

• Perform a variety of mammographic procedures according to clinical and national standards.
• Accurately complete records, daily quality assurance and improvement information, meeting regulatory standards.
• Calibrate, maintain, and troubleshoot equipment, optimizing it to benefit operations.
• Stock work areas daily and may be involved in ordering and stocking general supplies.
• Communicate with physicians and other team members concerning patient status, diagnosis, or related information.

• Procedures: Performs a variety of mammographic procedures according to clinical and national standards.
• Documentation: Responsible for accurately completing records, daily quality assurance and improvement information, meeting regulatory standards.
• Equipment: Calibrates, maintains, and troubleshoots equipment, optimizing it to benefit operations.
• Supplies and Inventory: Stocks work areas daily, may be involved in ordering and stocking general supplies.
• Safety and Education: Compiles with national radiation standards (ALARA), completes education necessary to maintain licensure or certification required for position.
• Communication: Communicates with physicians and other team members concerning patient status, diagnosis, or related information.
