Job Description

The ideal candidate will have experience in driving cross-functional projects and vendor management, with a strong background in telecom engineering and technical experience. The role requires effective interpersonal and team-building capabilities, as well as strong project planning and time management skills.

The successful candidate will be responsible for creating and/or understanding project-specific installation instructions, engineering database updates, equipment configurations, and detailed Bill of Material (BOM). They will also create required Shopping carts or Telephone Equipment Orders (TEOs) to drive the purchase of required equipment and services.

The position involves coordinating and driving engineering issues to resolution, managing multiple Capacity Creation Requests for new hardware deployments, reconfigurations, decommissions, and First Office Application (FOA) projects. The candidate will also negotiate and coordinate overall project schedules for Engineering activities, Construction start and completion dates.

The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of leading multiple complex projects to successful completion, with excellent verbal, written, analytical, and communication skills. They will also have the ability to influence organizational direction and initiatives across all leadership levels.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Create and/or understand project-specific installation instructions, engineering database updates, equipment configurations, and detailed Bill of Material (BOM).

Requirements:

  • 5 or more years in driving cross-functional projects and vendor management.
  • Telecom Engineering/Technical experience required.
  • Installation experience is a plus.
  • Experience with capital and expense budgets.
  • Effective interpersonal and team-building capabilities.
  • Strong project planning and time management.
  • Proven track record of leading multiple complex projects to successful completion.
  • Excellent verbal, written, analytical, and communication skills.
  • Ability to influence organizational direction and initiatives across all leadership levels.
