In this role, you will be an integral part of the Product Quality and Reliability team, focusing on the readiness of integrated circuit (IC) components for mass production. You will engage in thorough analysis and problem-solving to identify failure modes related to both analog and digital ICs. This position requires collaboration with our Custom Silicon Management team and the establishment of strong working relationships across various functional teams.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Review and drive the execution of product development plans, including characterization, correlation, and gauge repeatability & reproducibility (GR&R).
  • Conduct data analysis, characterization, and fault isolation to uncover root causes of issues.
  • Collaborate with design, process, and test engineers to identify and implement corrective actions for both new and established products and technologies.
  • Define and finalize production screening specifications based on design intent and characterization results.
  • Perform statistical data analysis on extensive data sets.
  • Implement yield analyses and correlation analyses across all testing levels, including pareto analysis and statistical evaluations.
  • Develop characterization plans and generate comprehensive characterization reports.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree with over 10 years of relevant industry experience.
  • Proficiency in automated test equipment (ATE) characterization and data collection from testing programs.
  • Experience in analyzing reports for both analog and digital IC evaluations.
  • Prior experience in product engineering for complex system designs.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience in high-volume manufacturing of analog and digital ICs.
  • Expertise in conducting statistical data analyses.
  • Experience in managing product yield in high-volume environments.
  • Ability to design and direct experiments for root cause analysis.
  • Strong interpersonal skills for effective collaboration with internal teams and external suppliers.

Compensation and Benefits:

At Apple, base pay is just one component of our total compensation package, which is determined within a specific range. This allows for growth and development within your role. The base pay range for this position is between $165,500 and $293,800, contingent upon your skills, qualifications, experience, and location. Apple employees also have the opportunity to participate in discretionary employee stock programs, including restricted stock unit awards and discounted stock purchases through the Employee Stock Purchase Plan. Additional benefits include comprehensive medical and dental coverage, retirement benefits, discounts on products and services, and reimbursement for certain educational expenses related to career advancement.
