Job Summary

We are seeking a qualified individual to join our maritime and waterfront infrastructure group as a Project Engineer. This role will involve managing and designing small to large projects, with a focus on geotechnical, structural, and general civil design elements.

Key Responsibilities
  • Performing design calculations for marine structural systems and civil infrastructure
  • Developing clear, constructible, and practical construction plans and details
  • Performing construction field observations to verify conformance with contract documents
  • Producing deliverable documents, including studies, reports, designs, details, and opinions of costs
  • Assisting in project management, including internal delegation, subconsultant management, and quality control
Requirements
  • Bachelor's Degree in Civil or Structural Engineering
  • Professional Engineers (PE) license in the state of Florida or ability to obtain within three months
  • Knowledge of AutoCAD and Microsoft Office software
  • Strong oral and written communication skills
Preferred Qualifications
  • Current knowledge of linear, non-linear, large displacement, and high-end structural analysis and soil-structure interaction analysis and design software
  • Familiarity with structural and marine design codes, including PIANC, AASHTO, ACI 318, and API
