Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Security Systems Installer to join our team at TEKsystems. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for installing and servicing security systems, including access control, CCTV, and intrusion systems.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Install and configure security systems, including access control, CCTV, and intrusion systems
  • Perform routine maintenance and repairs on security systems
  • Assist with the start-up of new equipment and adjust as needed to ensure system operation
  • Plan schedules and lay out basic electrical equipment installation
  • Perform work assignments in a safe manner and within specified cost limits

Requirements:

  • 1+ years of commercial experience installing and/or servicing security systems
  • Basic understanding of electronics, wiring, local and national codes, IP Video or IT experience
  • Valid driver's license

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Vocational/technical degree in electrical, security, or computer systems
  • Bosch, DMP, Edwards/EST, Honeywell, Radionics, Simplex and/or GE/Mirtone system, Genetec and Software House (C-Cure) knowledge
  • IT/Networking Certification or ESA Certified Alarm Technician
