About the Role

Dedrone is seeking an experienced Electronic Warfare Product Manager to join our team and play a pivotal role in shaping the future of our EW products for airspace security. As a key member of our product development team, you will be responsible for developing and executing a comprehensive product strategy that aligns with our vision and market demands.

Key Responsibilities
  • Product Strategy: Develop and execute a product strategy that aligns with our vision and market demands. Stay abreast of industry trends, emerging technologies, and regulatory changes to drive product innovation and differentiation.
  • Technical Leadership: Dedrone's EW systems present particular technical challenges. A strong technical background is desired in this product leader role.
  • Market Analysis: Conduct thorough market research and analysis to identify customer needs, market opportunities, and competitive landscape. Gather insights from customers, stakeholders, and industry experts to inform product roadmap decisions.
  • Product Development: Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define product requirements, prioritize features, and drive product development initiatives. Lead the end-to-end product lifecycle from concept to launch, ensuring timely delivery of high-quality solutions.
  • Customer Engagement: Engage with customers to understand their pain points, gather feedback, and validate product concepts. Build strong relationships with key stakeholders to drive customer-centric product development.
  • Regulatory Compliance: Stay up-to-date with regulatory requirements and standards related to drone technology and airspace security. Ensure that our products comply with relevant regulations and certifications.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in engineering, computer science, business, or related field; advanced degree preferred.
  • Proven track record of 5+ years of experience in product management or EW technology development, ideally with a focus on communication EW and navigation EW (NAVWAR), counter UAS systems, or related fields.
  • Deep understanding of drone technology, including hardware, software, sensors, and communication systems, especially communication protocols and communication theory.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to translate market insights into actionable product strategies.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams and engage with customers.
  • Experience working in complex development environments and familiarity with product management tools and methodologies.
  • Passion for innovation and driving positive change in the aerospace and defense industry.
