Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Cloud Engineer to join our team at Peraton. The successful candidate will design, develop, and deploy enterprise Azure Cloud capabilities, ensuring seamless integration with our existing infrastructure.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and implement Azure Cloud solutions, including infrastructure, cloud management, monitoring, and security.
  • Collaborate with our Engineering, Operations, and Security teams to develop solutions that align with Federal and DOS security guidelines.
  • Support the development of automation within Azure and ensure close integration with our modernization teams.
  • Provide Engineering support for production issues, network or system upgrades, new capabilities, and advancements in emerging hardware and software.

Requirements:

  • U.S. citizenship and active Government Security Clearance with the ability to obtain a Top-Secret clearance.
  • At least two years of experience designing, developing, implementing, and sustaining Azure solutions.
  • Experience with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) development and deployment, as well as Agile development environments and Scrum methodologies.
  • Strong understanding of modern DevOps practices, including automation, continuous delivery, continuous deployment, and continuous integration methodologies.
  • Experience in FedRAMP approved MAC and/or MAG environments.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Four or more years hands-on experience with production Azure environments.
  • Experience deploying Oracle/SQL databases and DDVE to Azure.
  • Advanced Azure Technical Certifications.
  • Experience at Department of State.
