About the Role

Helio Health is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Behavioral Health Support Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our outpatient program, you will play a vital role in supporting the success of our patients in their treatment journey.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist with counseling responsibilities, including screening, intake, orientation, referral, counseling, crisis response, patient education, case management, reporting, and record keeping.
  • Participate in program administrative and clinical committees as assigned.
  • Represent the agency to the community and perform quality assurance activities.
  • Display knowledge of addiction/recovery and/or behavioral health self-help group processes and principles of counseling.
Requirements
  • High School Diploma/GED required.
  • Customer service and/or human services experience preferred.
  • Valid NYS Driver's License, based on service settings.
