Position Overview:

A Pediatric Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) plays a vital role in delivering essential medical care to young patients while collaborating with a dedicated healthcare team. The LPN's responsibilities encompass evaluating patients both in person and via telephone, supervising healthcare team members, documenting patient medical histories, managing prescriptions, and executing minor medical tasks under the guidance of healthcare providers.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Monitoring and recording patient vital signs

  • Preparing examination rooms by cleaning equipment and ensuring necessary supplies are available
  • Facilitating effective communication between families and healthcare professionals
  • Assisting physicians, nurses, and other healthcare providers during patient appointments

  • Collecting, preparing, and analyzing in-house specimens for laboratory transport
  • Tracking patient conditions and test outcomes

Education and Experience Requirements:

  • High School Diploma or General Education Diploma (GED)
  • Preferred: One year of recent relevant experience
  • Current LPN license (Required)
