About the Role

We are seeking an experienced pediatric hospitalist to join our team at Peyton Manning Children's Hospital. The ideal candidate will have a Doctor of Medicine (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathy (DO) degree, be licensed to practice medicine in Indiana, and have experience in caring for inpatients with diverse diagnoses.

Pediatric Hospitalist Responsibilities:

  • Caring for inpatients with diverse diagnoses
  • Medical Control for our Pediatric Ground Transport
  • Procedural Sedation
  • Support provided by a large variety of medical and surgical subspecialties.
  • Co Management common between hospitalist and surgical and medical subspecialists
  • Opportunities to work with residents and medical students and provide major role in pediatric residency education
  • Join a collegial team of 12 pediatric hospitalists

  • An attached tertiary care pediatric hospital with 40 private inpatient beds and 8 short stay beds, staffed in-house 24/7 by our Pediatric Hospitalist group
  • A 15-bed PICU staffed 24/7 by Pediatric Intensivists
  • A 17-bed Pediatric Emergency department staffed 24/7 by Pediatric Emergency physicians
  • One of Indiana's largest Level IV NICUs staffed 24/7 by Neonatologists
