Job Summary

United States Cold Storage is seeking a highly skilled Customer Account Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our Customer Service department, you will be responsible for providing exceptional support to our customers, ensuring their needs are met and exceeded.

Key Responsibilities
  • Process cross-docks and manage inventory levels to ensure timely delivery of products.
  • Verify inventory and notify customers of potential shortages, ensuring seamless communication and resolution.
  • Review receipts, outbound, and charges to ensure accuracy and compliance.
  • Process hold/release of inventory and manage electronic transactions to prevent failures.
  • Answer phone calls and respond to customer inquiries in a professional and timely manner.
  • Research and resolve OS&Ds, creating reports and providing solutions to customers.
  • Post inbound and outbound orders, ensuring accuracy and efficiency.
  • Input orders on time to be shipped on pools, meeting tight deadlines.
  • Cut logs and adjustments, maintaining accurate records.
  • Research customer requests and provide solutions, ensuring customer satisfaction.
  • Report on turn times, providing insights for process improvements.
  • Ensure electronic transactions are not failing, maintaining a high level of accuracy.
  • Import and export responsibilities, managing complex logistics.
  • Promptly perform Trace requests, providing timely solutions.
Requirements
  • High School Degree preferred.
  • 1 to 3 years of experience in a related field, preferably in customer service or logistics.
  • Excellent communication skills, written and oral.
  • PC, leadership, and planning skills helpful.
  • Experience in AS400, SAP, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint preferred.
  • Experience with warehouse paperwork preferred.
