Job Summary

Under the supervision of the Head Coach, the Assistant Coach will support the volleyball team in coaching, operations, recruiting, and fundraising efforts. This position is renewable for the next academic year, contingent upon satisfactory performance, availability of funds, and adherence to all Post University academic requirements and employment protocols.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist in planning and directing student-athlete training and assessments to determine team positions.
  • Support players in reaching their highest athletic potential through athletic training and leadership skills.
  • Ensure familiarity with NCAA rules and regulations.
  • Collaborate with the Head Coach in scouting opponents and evaluating film through Hudl.
  • Contribute to a positive and competitive team environment.
  • Participate in on-campus recruiting visits and community service initiatives.
  • Assist with program fundraising efforts and perform other duties as assigned.
Requirements
  • Working knowledge of NCAA Division I/II rules.
  • Collegiate coaching and/or playing experience.
  • Excellent interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills.
  • A valid U.S. driver's license.
  • Ability to work both traditional and non-traditional business hours.
Qualifications
  • Qualified candidates should possess a bachelor's degree and be fully admitted into one of Post University's graduate programs.
  • Candidate should have playing experience at the NCAA level.
  • Required to work at least 20 hours per week during the academic school year based on the credit hours attempted.
