About the Role:

The Northwest Texas Healthcare System is seeking a highly skilled Diagnostic Medical Sonographer Senior Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our diagnostic imaging department, you will be responsible for performing complex ultrasound examinations and collaborating with cardiologists and staff physicians to provide exceptional patient care.

Job Description:

We are looking for a seasoned professional who can demonstrate advanced ultrasound echo sonography skills, good patient care, and excellent communication and problem-solving abilities. Your role will involve assisting cardiologists and staff physicians with tests, preparing technical reports, exam rooms, equipment, and supplies for procedures, and providing feedback to students on their performance.

Requirements:

To be successful in this role, you must have current BLS certification from the American Heart Association, American Registry of Diagnostic Medical Sonographers completion within 12 months of hire date, and maintain such certification throughout employment.

You will be working in a fast-paced environment where you will have the opportunity to demonstrate your leadership skills, show organization, and respond to pages. You will also be required to evaluate and interpret information and make independent decisions while maintaining calm under stress.
