Medical Supply Specialist

Aldevra is currently seeking a qualified Sterilization Technician to support the Southeast Louisiana Veterans Health Care System in New Orleans, LA. This position requires passing an extensive background check and obtaining a SLVHCS security badge. The ideal candidate will have sterile processing certification, HIPAA training, and excellent verbal communication skills.
Responsibilities:
- Inspect, assemble, and determine the correct method for sterilization of medical equipment
- Perform and document daily operational checks for sterilization equipment
- Monitor the process of cleaning/decontamination, sterilization, reprocessing, and distribution of critical, semi-critical, and non-critical medical equipment
- Develop procedures to evaluate quality of work performance and outcomes as it relates to quality assurance program
Requirements:
- High school diploma
- Sterile processing certification
- HIPAA trained and certified
- Valid driver's license
- Excellent verbal communication skills and telephone manner
What We Offer:
