Key Responsibilities

Primary Duties:

  • Utilize CCTV systems and other monitoring tools to oversee activities and deter potential criminal actions.
  • Implement and uphold security policies and procedures, ensuring adherence to all relevant regulations.
  • Effectively manage conflicts and emergency situations, prioritizing the safety of all individuals involved.
  • Perform routine inspections of security systems and equipment to confirm their operational integrity.
  • Administer first aid and CPR during emergencies as required.
  • Maintain detailed records of security-related incidents, investigations, and other pertinent information.
  • Engage in ongoing training to enhance skills and knowledge in security practices.
  • Fulfill additional responsibilities as assigned.
Qualifications

Essential Requirements:

  • High School Diploma or GED.
  • Previous experience in law enforcement, military service, or a similar field is preferred.
  • Experience in surveillance, conflict management, loss prevention, and security operations is highly desirable.
  • A comprehensive understanding of security principles, procedures, and regulations is essential.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment, prioritize responsibilities, and maintain meticulous attention to detail.
Skills and Working Conditions
  • Proficiency in surveillance technologies, including CCTV and alarm systems.
  • Experience in managing conflicts and crisis situations is advantageous.
  • Certification in CPR and first aid is required.
  • Strong grasp of security principles and regulations.
  • Ability to work autonomously as well as collaboratively within a team.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
  • Physical endurance to perform duties across various environments.
