Embalmer Assistant

NorthStar Memorial Group, LLC is seeking a skilled Embalmer Assistant to join our team at Skylawn Memorial Park in San Mateo, CA. As a compassionate and dedicated professional, you will play a vital role in upholding the highest standards of care and respect for the deceased and their families.

• Assist in the preparation and presentation of deceased individuals for viewing and burial, adhering to strict guidelines and regulations.
• Maintain a clean and organized work environment, adhering to company and industry standards.
• Prepare and submit accurate documentation related to services provided.
• Participate in ongoing training and professional development to enhance skills and knowledge.

• Recent completion of an accredited mortuary program or equivalent experience.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to handle sensitive situations with professionalism and discretion.
• Knowledge of current federal, state, and local regulations related to the funeral industry.
