Senior Aircraft Structures Engineer

The Senior Aircraft Structures Engineer will lead the engineering team in ensuring the safety, airworthiness, and reliability of Atlas Air aircraft. This role requires expertise in aircraft structural engineering, with a focus on compliance with Federal Aviation Regulations (FARs), Airworthiness Directives (ADs), and Notices of Proposed Rulemaking (NPRMs).
Key Responsibilities
• Provide guidance to Structures Engineering staff on aircraft structural integrity and compliance with regulatory requirements.
• Develop and issue instructions and documents to support operations and return aircraft to service in a safe, airworthy, and timely manner.
• Participate in industry working groups, meetings, and conferences to stay up-to-date on industry developments and best practices.
• Collaborate with manufacturers, maintenance representatives, and regulatory personnel to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
Requirements
• 5+ years of experience in aircraft structural engineering.
• Bachelor's degree in Engineering or Technical Engineering.
• Strong knowledge of FARs, ADs, and NPRMs.
• Excellent communication and leadership skills.
• Ability to travel domestically and internationally.
